Biography

Inge Ariesen started playing the oboe when she was 8 years old. Back then, she got lessons at the CvK in Sneek, her teacher was Nynke Jaarsma. In 2009 she started at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the preliminary year with prof. Ernest Rombout. In June 2014 she finished her bachelor at the conservatory with the result ‘very good’. Inge continued her studies with a master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with lessons of both Ernest Rombout and Miriam Pastor. In June 2016 she finished her masters and received the predicate ‘Excellent’ and Cum Laude. During her masters at the conservatory Inge was a member of the orchestra academy of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra | Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.

As an oboe player, Inge participates in several projects in the Netherlands, as well as abroad. She played with the Metropole Orchestra, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, South Netherlands Philharmonic and the Netherlands Wind Ensemble. Inge is the first oboeplayer in the ‘Ars Musica Orchestra’. Moreover, she was playing the oboe in the young NBE (Netherlands Wind Ensemble) from 2016 until 2018. Apart from playing in orchestras and ensembles Inge also performs as a soloist. She performed concertos with the ‘Fries Symfonie Orkest’, the ‘WachtkamerOrkest’, and ‘Ars Musica’. In February of 2015 she performed the world première of the ‘Vier seizoenensymfonie’ of Bernard van Beurden with the ‘Frysk Fanfare Orkest’. In August of 2015 she received the Schutterij Jong Talent Prijs, an award for musical talent.

Inge took masterclasses of Pauline Oostenrijk, Lucas Macias Navarro, Alexei Ogrintchouk, Hans Wolters, Karel Schoofs, Dimitri Mestdag and Roland Perrenoud.
